UZEX Continues Annual Dividend Payouts Following People's IPO

The Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) will distribute UZS 143 billion (382 UZS per share) in dividend payments: The decision was made at the general shareholders’ meeting on March 19, 2025. 

In 2024, the company distributed 107% of its net profit as dividends. Under the People’s IPO program, in November 2024, UZEX capitalized profits – each shareholder received four additional shares for each share they held. As a result, total dividend payments for 2024 amounted to UZS 342 billion—comprising UZS 143.2 billion in cash and UZS 198.8 billion in shares.
