In accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 8 of 2022:

• the work on privatization of at least 49 % of JSC "Uzbekneftegaz" including through public offering (IPO) as well as the state’s 51 % or more in JSC "Thermal Power Plants"  with the involvement of an experienced investment bank is to begin 
   
• based on the conclusions of an international consulting company, the Strategy of JSC "Uzbekhydroenergo" Reforming is to be submitted for approval to the Cabinet of Ministers.
   

At the same time, during the construction of new small and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants, priority will be given to the implementation of projects with the participation of the private sector, including on the basis of public-private partnership conditions.

• 51% of JSC “Uzbekistan Airways” is to be put up for public sale, including through a public offering (IPO). 
   
• with the involvement of an international investment bank and consultants, a public offering (IPO) of up to 10 percent of JSC “UzAuto Motors” on the local stock market is to be ensured, and the Strategy of realization to strategic investors of the rest of the share of the company and JSC “UzAuto Motors Powertrain” and LLC " Samarqand Avtomobil zavodi" is to be submitted to the Cabinet of Ministers
