In addition, assets in freely convertible foreign currency amounted to just over $13.3 billion. Since June, their volume has increased by $157 million.

Gold in value terms increased by $39.7 million and reached $21.2 billion in total. Over the month, the precious metal volume increased to 11.7 million troy ounces.

Reserves were brought above this level in October last year (12.1 million troy ounces).
