The State Assets Management Agency (UzSAMA) has published a financial statement analysis of state-owned enterprises (SOEs).

Currently, the number of enterprises with state participation is 2,117 (227 JSCs, 1,075 LLCs and 815 SUEs), including 347 inactive or subject to liquidation enterprises sold on an installment plan. The function of a shareholder (participant, founder) on behalf of the state in the above enterprises is performed by more than 70 ministries, departments and local authorities.

To ensure openness and transparency of the SOEs, analysis and control of their activities, the main financial and economic indicators of the enterprises have to be placed on the website of UzSAMA, which was determined by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on October 30, 2020.

At the same time, to summarize and synchronize the financial statements of the enterprises, UzSAMA has established an electronic exchange of information with the relevant authorities.

In this regard, financial analysis results of the SOEs revealed the TOP 20 most profitable and 20 most unprofitable enterprises, as well as 10 companies with the largest dividends paid to the state.

"Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Company" became the company with the largest net profit and dividend payment, while "Uztransgaz" has been the most unprofitable for two consecutive years.
