The 1st Tashkent International Investment Forum (TMIF) has completed its work in the capital. The event became a large-scale business occasion that brought together more than 2 thousand participants – major investors and high-ranking guests from 56 countries of the world.
As a result of the Forum, a package of firm contracts and investment agreements worth $ 7.8 billion was signed. Preliminary agreements were also reached on the implementation of projects worth $ 3.5 billion.
One of the key events of the Tashkent International Investment Forum was the meeting of the Country Platform for Uzbekistan, which was attended by the heads of international financial institutions, foreign government financial organizations and development partners, which resulted in the signing of 6 agreements on the implementation of joint projects totaling $ 617 million, 2 letters of mandate in the amount of $ 160 million, as well as 2 agreements on the provision of consulting services. In particular:
TIIF showed itself not only as a large-scale communication platform for strengthening and developing interregional and international ties, but also a powerful catalyst for inter-country and interregional investment and foreign economic cooperation.
